The newest little Finger

Well, Saturday morning at 8:02 Elisabeth Kathleen Finger was born. At 7 pounds 4 ounces and 19 inches long she is very tiny compared to our 9 pound 4 ounce Hannah. She is so cute and looks a lot like her big sister. We feel so blessed to have her join our family. Hannah absolutely loves her baby sister. Last night was our first night home from the hospital and this morning when Hannah woke up she came into our bedroom and the first thing out of her mouth was, " I wanna see my baby sister". She is a very good baby (so far :)) and doesn't cry very much. During her awake times she is wide eyed looking around and just so happy. We posted a slide show of her first pictures during our stay in the hospital. Enjoy!

7/2/09 Hannah and I were on our hands and knees mopping the floors when Hannah said, "I know why the floor gets so dirty!! Its cuz your feet are so dirty! peww!"
3/13/09 Hannah farted while pushing herself up off the bathroom sink and kicking her legs out to a russian split! Funny times.
3/13/09 Hannah is starting speech preschool next week.
1/21/09 Hannah has been earning money by doing chores. Last night we were driving to get ice cream and Hannah found some change in her car seat. She gave it to her Daddy and told him he could have that if he does her chores and cleans her play room. lol
11/18/08 Hannah asked what the little things were on her costco hot dog bun. We told her they were seeds. She started picking the seeds off the bun, handed them to her Daddy and enthusiastically said, "I'm gonna take these home and grow a hot dog tree!"
10/24/08 Hannah is dohgoh free!
10/7/08 When Hannah got into her car seat she lifted her bun up and sat back against the head rest and said, "ahh, I'm too hot like Nana".
9/4/08 Here is some dialogue exchanged between Hannah and Papa. Papa: Hannah, do you have a boyfriend? Hannah: Well, no I have a BIG boyfriend. Papa: Oh? What's his name? Hannah: Daddy.
8/20/08 We were at Dland and we wanted Hannah to try to use the potty so we wouldn't have to stop again but she didn't have to go, Daddy told her she could have a dollar if she tried so she did. Later She held out her hand and said where's my money? Daddy thought it was really funny because he didn't know she would remember or that she would care about money, apparently she did and does.
8/20/08 We found out Hannah will not eat a brownie but likes onions and saurkraut
8/06/08 We were at Wal-mart one night and Hannah started spitting on the ground. We told her to stop and later she spit in Mommy's face. Daddy sternly told her that if she spits one more time she will be going straight to bed when we got home. She told Daddy, "Well it IS nigh-night time." Mommy and Daddy couldn't hold back our laughter. Little smart alec

7/2/09 Elisabeth is walking now and talking. Her favorite things to say are, "I need that/it!", "Thank you", "Mine", "apple" (for when she's hungry or thirsty)and "AAAHHHHHHHHHH" when Hannah comes near her.
3/13/09 Elisabeth may not be walking yet but she sure is trying to talk! She pointed to Jesus' picture at church last Sunday and said, "Jesus". Also, this week after our dinner prayer she said, "Amen."
1/21/09 Elisabeth had her Dr. check up this week. She weighed in at 17 lbs. 3 oz. and 27 1/4 inches long. She is in the 5th and 10th percentiles.
12/8/08 Elisabeth got her first tooth! She also can crawl now and say mama!
11/30/08 Elsie bug started clapping today! Yay!
11/18/08 Elisabeth ate some of Mommy's chicken noodle soup tonight and couldn't get enough of it. She is starting to eat more solid foods even though she still has no teeth. She has also grown a lot of hair! She said "mama" tonight. I don't think she associates it with me but I'll take it! :)
10/24/08 Elisabeth is 8 months old! She says "Dada" and can go from sitting up to her tummy to get a toy.
10/7/08 I don't know how this can be but Elisabeth is the Happiest AND the Grumpiest baby in the world. She will flash the biggest smile and a second later growl at you.
8/23/08 Elsie is 6 months old today! She is starting to sit up for longer periods before slumping to her tummy...she has also now eaten sweet potatoes and bananas!
8/22/08 Elsie has moved from her cradle to her crib!

8/20/08 Elsie thinks mommy is REALLY funny and cracks up out loud at anything mommy says to her
8/20/08 Elisabeth eats a bowl of rice cereal twice a day
7/08 Elsie rolled over
