We made our Gingerbread house at Nana's house with Nana, Auntie Lindsey and Laney. Hannah loves doing this each year, and Elisabeth was there too but she was playing with Daddy and Papa and didn't get in the pictures. Nana made the gingerbread from scratch and it tasted just as good as it looked! I don't know which part Hannah enjoyed more, building it or eating it. I should have taken a picture of the platter full of crumbs a couple of weeks later. As Hannah broke the roof apart to eat it she wondered if there was anything inside. We have a book called the Gingerbread baby. The little boy in the book bakes a house to catch the gingerbread baby so Hannah had the idea to put a gingerbread baby in her house next year.
