We stayed home for trick-or-treating this year, a first for us. We got home too late from Oak Glen for homemade chili so we had to go to the store and get canned chili and a cornbread mix. We also made mummy hot dogs and the spider cider that we got from the hayride. It was actually pretty nasty and none of us liked it. We came home and got dinner cooking and put out our inflatable ghost and turned the lights on. Dan and Hannah carved the pumpkin that we got from the hayride, lit it and then it was time for trick -or- treating. Hannah decided she wanted to be a hula girl instead of the Barbie princess at the last minute so we threw it on her and took her to the houses on our street. We were able to meet and talk to some of our neighbors and then we came home, ate dinner, danced to Halloween music and gave out candy to trick -0r-treaters, we had plenty of candy thanks to Mickey's Halloween treat. It was a really nice, quiet family Halloween for us and we had a great time!

Hannah looks adorable! With everything that you guys did over the last week, I think I would want to spend a nice quiet evening at home too. It was really nice to see you guys at the Halloween party. Maybe you can join us for our Christmas Breakfast this year on Sat. Dec. 6th @ 9am. Plus there is the annual Bite of Christmas on the 10th @6:30pm. :) Hope to see you!!
